Career connections across campus

Recruiting for careers and internships

Students can participate in on-campus employer recruiting programs and they can connect directly with employers, and learn about internship opportunities. Students can also get information about their professional interests through on-campus informational sessions, interviews, trips, and networking opportunities across the US.

Career-infused classroom learning

Denison provides career liaisons and career exploration and outcome programming to our faculty to help students articulate the workplace relevance of their coursework experience.

Flexible opportunities for student athletes

Denison brings career coaching directly to student-athletes to engage in career preparation while juggling demanding practice and competition schedules. Through workshops brought directly to the Mitchell Center and direct collaboration with teams, Career Coaches help students articulate and leverage their experiences as student-athlete in their career-planning journey.

Skill-building for student employees

On-campus jobs provide students the opportunity to develop personally and professionally while gaining skills that will help as they launch into careers post-Denison. A special student employment career series offers interactive workshops to student employees to leverage their on-campus employment as they become career ready.

Land the Life-changing Internship

Set your internship goals — what you want to learn, achieve, and contribute.

2023-2024 Museum Interns

Interns at the Denison Museum spend time with antiquities, art and objects that enhance their learning, and deepen their connection to their research.

Building relationships through art

Denison students bring summertime art programming to Otterbein Granville SeniorLife Community through residency experiences.

The Denison Advantage

A Denison education sets you apart (and we can prove it):
We call it “the Denison Advantage.”
96%
of recent graduates are working in their desired field or position.
99%
of alumni are currently employed or in graduate school.
94%
of alumni are satisfied with how well Denison prepared them for professional success after college.

At Denison, you get a liberal arts education, plus pragmatic skills for the workplace. Employers want people who can assess a situation, ask probing questions, research the issue and propose solutions. They also want you to know how to master an excel sheet, manage a meeting, and budget your time. Students in every major learn these critical skills. It’s our secret sauce, and we’ve got the data to prove it.
