Concerns can be reported by anyone

Denison encourages all members of our communities to report potential hazing. Such concerns can be reported by anyone: students, faculty, staff, parents, friends, alumni or community members. It is not safe to assume that others will report these concerns; please take your responsibility as a concerned community member seriously.

There are multiple ways to report an issue.

When reporting, please be prepared to provide the following information to the best of your abilities.

Denison investigates all reports of hazing behavior. Our ability to investigate hazing incidents depends on the accuracy and specificity of the information provided. You are encouraged to provide as much detail as possible. You have the option to submit a report anonymously, but working with a university official will allow us to address the concerns more thoroughly. If you do choose to share your name, your name will be held in confidence throughout the investigation.

1. Contact a university official; your name will be held in confidence throughout the investigation.

2. Report anonymously.

  • Anyone may submit a confidential concern to Campus Security about hazing.
