Joset Wright-Lacy ’76, President of the National Minority Supplier Development Council will receive the 2015 Greater New England Minority Supplier Development Council President's Award.

Joset Wright-Lacy '76, President of the National Minority Supplier Development Council will receive the 2015 Greater New England Minority Supplier Development Council President's Award at the GNEMSDC Awards Gala on Saturday, April 11, at the Boston Convention and Exposition Center. Wright-Lacy is being recognized for her leadership of the largest corporate membership organization in the world dedicated to the development of minority business. The NMSDC has 1,700 corporate members and over 12,000 certified minority business enterprises (MBEs).

Joset Wright-Lacy became President of the NMSDC in 2009, and since then has led the NMSDC on a significant strategic redesign. The number of regional affiliates has consolidated from 36 to 24, resulting in stronger regional councils capable of providing more substantial services to both corporate members and MBEs.
